Our Staff

"Valuable and necessary as is the prepared environment...without a trained directress the prepared environment would be useless..." (Standing, 1984).

At Red Satchel Montessori School, we strongly believe that the quality of our program depends greatly on the quality of our staff. Our teachers are required to be certified by the Pennsylvania State Department of Education. It is necessary that all staff members have studied the Montessori Philosophy and undergo an "in-house" training to ensure that our school operates under a united interpretation of Montessori Theory and Methods.

Staff members are required to attend conferences and workshops to further their development, as well as complete mandatory observations of other settings yearly.
